MRU - Mauritania Ouguiya
The Mauritanian ouguiya (MRU) is the official currency of Mauritania. It is subdivided into 5 khoums. The currency is one of only two circulating currencies, along with Malagasy ariary, globally whose subunit is not based on a power of ten. The symbol of the Mauritanian ouguiya is UM.
