KPW - North Korean Won
The North Korean won (KPW) is the official currency of North Korea. It is subdivided into 100 chon. The symbol of the currency is ₩. The North Korean won is strictly controlled by the country’s government and can’t be converted into other currencies. Foreign visitors of the country get a special convertible won to use.
