USD - US Dollar
The US dollar (USD) is the official currency of the United States of America. It is the world’s most widely traded currency.
SVC - El Salvador Colon
The Salvadoran colon (SVC) was the official currency of El Salvador until 2001. It was replaced by the US dollar with a fixed exchange rate of 1 USD = 8.75 SVC. Although the Salvadoran colon remains a legal tender, it no longer circulates and is rarely used. On 7 Sept 2021, Bitcoin became legal tender in the country, along with the US dollar. El Salvador is the first country that has adopted Bitcoin globally.
