Japan 225 is a CFD product offered by OANDA with Nikkei Index(Nikkei 225) as its underlying reference asset. Nikkei 225 is one of Japan’s major stock indices.

It comprises 225 stocks listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange Prime Market.

The index is calculated by Nikkei Inc., which reviews its constituents twice a year.

Although the price of the Nikkei Index stagnated for a long time after reaching 38,915 JPY in 1989, it reached a new all-time high in 2024.
