You can fund your account using a debit card, bank wire transfer and PayPal. Please note that we apply negative balance protection to new and existing accounts. This only kicks in when you have no open trades.
You can deposit funds by debit cards backed by MasterCard or Visa. There is no minimum deposit amount and you can deposit a maximum of 50,000 units of currency per calendar month. Unlimited units if your bank supports ’Verified by Visa' or MasterCard Secure Code. Processing is immediate, and your bank may charge a service fee for debit card deposits.
It takes one to three business days to deposit funds via domestic wire transfer and up to five business days for international wire transfers. There is no minimum or maximum deposit limit. You may be charged a service fee by your bank and intermediary bank for transferring funds into your OANDA trading account.
You can fund your account using your own personal PayPal account, with funds being sent via e-check. It can take between two to six business days for funds deposited via PayPal to be visible in your OANDA account.
You can withdraw funds from your account via a number of different methods
The funds will be reflected in your account within one to three business days. Your debit card provider may take additional time to complete your withdrawal. There are no fees for withdrawing funds by debit card.
You can withdraw funds straight to your bank account via bank transfer.
We process withdrawals to PayPal accounts. Withdrawals to PayPal accounts are usually processed within one business day.
